Small group - big fun!!
We had a few families come and have big time fun making Grass Heads.

Shirts in the SUN!!:
There was no way we could stay inside and paint T-Shirts on a day like this. We had some great Dad involvement and everyone went away happy. You have to smile watching an event like this.

What a wonderful Mess!!
We had some wonderful Dads, Moms, and kids come together with paints and shirts. The outcome was a wonderful, colorful mess! They will enjoy the shirts ands memories quite a while.

Spring, kids, parents and Grass Heads!
This is what happens when you take Head Start kids, mix in some nylons, peat moss, and grass seed. A home grown version of ‘Chia Pets’.
We’re not sure who had more fun - the kids, the parents, or the teachers =D

More of the same:
We had to do two posts to get all the good pictures in. Local Head start families are here together. Shirts (hands, pants, chairs) were painted at a MENtoring event.

Big night, little kids and lots of paint!!
Local Head Start families gather. We paint shirts together and have fun. There were a lot of Dads and siblings! The artwork was diverse and entertaining.

A return to balance -
We had Dads, Moms, kids, wood screws, paint, tools, and a lot of love in a local Head Start. The outcome was some pretty cool Balance Beams. Good job and thanks to all the Dads who showed up!

FYI - if you build a grass head———
We have done a lot of grass heads this year. These two examples are just a couple possibilities. One was done by a staffer during an event we did in Porter. The other was done in a Barbara Bush Foundation event.

Another Shirting event:
We had 2 teams of great families going at the same time in Biddeford. What a great display of love and talent!!

We were with Kids, Dads, Moms and Head Start staff having a blast painting T-Shirts
